Dr. Stephanie Liu
Dr Stephanie Liu is a family physician and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta. Her blog, Life of Dr. Mom (@lifeofdrmom), was launched after the birth of her first child to debunk unscientific information shared online. She completed her medical training at the University of Alberta and Masters in Clinical Nutrition at Columbia University. She has a special interest in paediatrics, nutrition and sleep medicine. She is also a health expert for multiple news outlets including CTV News, Global News, National Post and Today Show.
Dr. Liu is the co-medical director of ZerOne Athleticare, a multidisciplinary MSK and sports medicine clinic that includes a team of physicians, orthopedic surgeons, radiologists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, dietitians and psychologists to provide comprehensive care. Diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of MSK injuries is under one roof to allow for seamless communication between care providers.
